I’ve been training with Mike and Amy Moses since February of 1997. As a husband, father and police officer, my original intention was to expand my knowledge and skills that would enable me to function as a more effective police officer. The Personal Defense System (PDS), Thai Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) are street friendly systems that will teach you how to defend yourself in a real world altercation. As far as my personal training is concerned, I have received a lot more than I originally intended. The friendships, the camaraderie, and the quality of the individuals that train at Evolve Academy are something that I would classify as nothing short of special.
I began teaching at Evolve Academy in 2001. I’ve been able to parlay my Evolve Academy experience into becoming a full time defensive tactics instructor for my police agency.
The quality of instruction at Evolve Academy is amazing. Master Mike and Amy Moses have very high standards for their instructors. Having a high skill level is not enough to be an instructor at Evolve Academy. You have to interact well with the students and demonstrate an ability to teach the curriculums to the standards of Master Mike and Amy.
I am so satisfied with the type of training and the environment that Evolve Academy offers, that my two children (Emily, 8 yrs and Philip, 7 yrs) train here.
